One of the best parts about being a photographer is getting to document families as they grow and change over time.   Four years ago Drew reached out to me and asked me to take Charlie’s newborn pictures.  When Drew asked me take her Mommy and Me pictures this year, I was beyond excited.  I couldn’t wait to see them again and meet Bradford for the first time.  It is amazing how in just four short years, that beautiful newborn baby is now the most adorable little four year old girl!   We did their session at Soergels Orchards in Wexford, Pennsylvania.   It was the perfect location for Drew’s mommy and me session.  Since I knew that the blossoms were only going to last a week or two, I drove by the orchard every few days to see how the trees were doing.   A week before Drew’s session, I noticed that the trees were already blossoming.   I contacted Drew to let her know and she was okay with changing the date for her session.   Let me just say, this woman is amazing!   In just a few days she was able to pull everyone’s outfits together and was ready to go by Sunday!  On the day of the session, the blossoms were in full bloom!

I asked Drew to write a couple of sentences about her family and her experience and this is what she wrote.

“I’m a busy mom, with a 4 year old, a 2 year old, and one on the way. I love to take pictures and capture moments of time with my children as they grow. Quite frequently, I’m not in the pictures so when I heard about the mommy and me session, I figured I would treat myself for Mother’s Day. It was so great to get together with Nicolette again. It’s been 4 years since she took photos of Charlie as a newborn. So much has changed and we’ve added Bradford to the family. I was looking for some candid shots of us and Nicolette was able to capture us just laughing and being silly. We all had a blast. She was so great and patient with the kids.”-Drew
