Pittsburgh Photographers Maternity | Wexford PA Maternity Photos | B Family

We did Lindsay’s maternity session at Soergels. It was a beautiful sunny spring day! I love that Lindsay wanted to maternity pictures with her husband and son. One of my favorite pictures from their session was when Will gave his mom and kiss! It was such a beautiful moment! We took pictures all the way to sunset and captured the beautiful evening glow on the farm. I loved spending the evening with Lindsay, Bill and Will and can’t wait to meet Alayna next month!

I asked Lindsay to write a couple of sentences about her experience and this is what she wrote.

“I was excited to include my husband Bill and our almost 2 year old son Will in my maternity session. While we are very anxious to welcome our new baby girl into our family we are soaking up the last precious moments as a family of 3 before Will has the new title of big brother. Nicolette helped choose a beautiful spring evening setting and did an amazing job keeping the lifestyle session fun and easy, even with a camera shy toddler on our hands! The photos turned out so beautiful and we can’t wait for our upcoming newborn session once our little girl arrives!”-Lindsay

Pittsburgh Family Portrait Photographers | Soergel Orchards Family Photos | Lauren and Nolan

I love that Lauren wanted to do a mommy and me session with her son Nolan! Lauren is so beautiful inside and out and the bond that she has with Nolan is adorable. I first met Lauren a little under a year ago when we did Nolan’s one year session. It is amazing to see how much Nolan has changed since the last time I saw him. One thing that I loved about this session was even though he has grown up into the cutest little toddler, he is still the same little explorer he was a year ago. The entire session he was picking up rocks and playing with the dandelions. It was such a relaxing and fun session. I really enjoyed documenting Lauren and Nolan snuggling up together, reading books, blowing dandelion seeds, and playing with trucks!

Wexford Photographer | Nicolette Dixon Photography | Wexford, Pennsylvania | Picking Blueberries

One of the things that I absolutely love to do in the summer is spend the day at a farm picking fruit. Earlier this summer I found out that you can pick your own blueberries at Soergel Orchards in Wexford, PA. Allie and Adalyn both loved it! Allie was very focused the entire time we were there and made sure she picked only the ripe blueberries. Adalyn on the other hand just picked anything that was within her reach.

The next day Allie and I made delicious blueberry muffins for breakfast. Here are some of my favorite pictures from our morning at Soergels!

Elliott is beyond adorable!!!! We did his one year session at Soergel Orchards in Wexford, Pennsylvania. It was such a cute location for his smash the cake session! I love the blossoming trees in the background! We stylized his session around a picnic theme. One of my favorite moments during the session was watching him carry around the picnic basket. All dressed up in white lace dresses, the pictures of Brandi with her two little girls couldn’t be any cuter! I am in love with Brandi, Afton, and Amzey’s Mommy and Me session. We did their session at Soergels Orchards in Wexford, Pennsylvania, when the blossoms were in full bloom. They day was absolutely perfect! There was not a cloud in the sky. One of my favorite moments during Brandi’s Mommy and Me session was when Afton and Amzey looked up at their mother. This picture just makes my heart melt!

“I’m a mom of two girls (4 and 2) and I also work full-time. We are constantly running between work, school, soccer and swimming so we really enjoyed the chance to slow down and share the fun moments Nicolette captured of us for Mother’s Day. The session was short enough to keep my girls’ attention but long enough to capture these great shots of us enjoying each other.
