I had so much fun taking Sophie’s senior photos! She wanted to do her senior pictures in Schenley Park and on the University of Pittsburgh campus. It was really cold and snowy on the day of her session. I was worried we were going to need to reschedule, but she wanted to go for it and I am so glad she did! I am in love with snow in the background in her photos! Here are some of my favorite pictures from her session!

Pittsburgh Senior Photos | Phipps Conservatory Senior Pictures | Lucie

Lucie originally wanted to take her senior pictures at Hartwood Acres Mansion. However, it was booked by a wedding causing us to switch the location to Phipps Conservatory and I am so glad that it worked out the way that it did. I cannot imagine a better place for Lucy’s Pittsburgh senior photos. We found so many different backgrounds. I especially loved the pond glistening in the background of some of the shots.

Lucie is a 2018 graduate of Moon Area High School. She has the sweetest and most beautiful smile! When taking her Pittsburgh senior photos I couldn’t help but smile, too! I love that Lucie brought her cute little dog along for a few shots as well. Pets are so special and unique to each owner.

Pittsburgh Family Photographer | Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden Family Photos | Grace, Andrew, and Nathan

I love everything about Grace and Andrew’s family session! It really does tell a story about their family in this moment in time. Grace, Andrew, and Nathan love to spend their weekends walking around Schenley park, going to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and riding the carousel. It was the perfect setting for their family session. My favorite moment was at the end of the session when Nathan kept running back and forth between me and his parents. Each time he ran to his parents, they lifted him up in the air and his entire face lit up with joy. Here are some of my favorite pictures from Grace, Andrew, and Nathan’s family session!

Pittsburgh Engagement Photographers | Nicolette Dixon Photography | Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens | Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | Amber and John

John asked Amber to marry him in a helicopter while flying over Pittsburgh!!!! I am in love with their engagement story. I can’t wait for Amber and John’s rustic barn wedding next weekend at the Laurel Hideaway in the Laurel Highlands. We did their engagement session at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. One of my favorite moments during their engagement session was watching them dance. They are so stinkin’ cute together!

I asked Amber to write a couple of sentences about her experience and this is what she wrote.

“John and I wanted to wait for spring flowers to bloom for our engagement pictures, but the weather this spring did not want to cooperate. With our wedding only weeks away, Nicolette made our engagement session relaxing, fun and completely stress free. The entire session felt so easy and natural.
