Pittsburgh Senior Photographers | Downtown Senior Pictures | Aidan

One of my favorite spots as a senior photographer is downtown Pittsburgh!    I absolutely love taking pictures on rooftops, in alleyways, on the bridges, and on the North Shore with the beautiful Pittsburgh city skyline in the background.  I took Aidan’s senior pictures in February.  I can’t tell you how thankful I am for the gorgeous weather we had that day.  Check out some of my favorite pictures from Aidan’s senior session!

Pittsburgh PA Photographers | Downtown Pittsburgh | Lucas and Caitlin

I got to do something pretty amazing last month.   I had the honor of documenting a proposal!    It wasn’t just any proposal either.   I got to document Lucas proposing to Caitlin!   Getting to document their proposal meant the world to me!  I met Lucas and Caitlin a few years ago when I took their senior pictures.  Here is the link to Lucas and Caitlin’s senior pictures on the blog.   When Lucas’ mom told me that Lucas was planning on proposing when they were in Pittsburgh, I was beyond excited!  Lucas did an amazing job planning the most perfect proposal.    He secretly had family from all over come into town to celebrate their engagement right after the proposal at a restaurant in the North Shore.   It was pretty amazing to just step back and watch document such a meaningful moment in their lives.   This will forever be one of my favorite sessions of all time!   Congratulations Lucas and Caitlin!!!

Family Photographer Pittsburgh PA | Downtown Pittsburgh and Point State Park Family Photos | Elliott

I have been taking pictures of this little cutie since he was one year old!    When I look back at his one year smash the cake session, I can’t believe how little he was!   It has been the most amazing experience to get to document his childhood and watch him grow and change over the past 5 years.  We have done some pretty fun sessions over the years.    I love how every session has a completely different feel from playing in the fall leaves to cutting down a tree at a Christmas tree farm.  It is actually hard to believe that it has only been 5 years.  I feel like I have known this family forever.

This year, for Elliott’s 6 year session, we headed downtown!   We started his session at the Roberto Clemente Bridge and then headed over to Point State Park for the last part of the session.   Here are some of my favorite pictures from his session!

Pittsburgh Family Photographer | Downtown Pittsburgh Family Photos | Rebecca, Edna, and Phyllis

Rebecca just graduated from college and everyone came into town to celebrate!   Rebecca’s sister, Edna, thought it would be nice to commemorate her last four years with a portrait session of her in city!   I loved the idea and thought it was such a meaningful gift!  In addition, Edna has been living overseas for 10 years so I definitely wanted to get pictures of the two of them together.   We planned it so that her mom was also able to be there for the session.  It ended up being a fun girls night out!  We spent the evening walking around downtown Pittsburgh, heading over to the North Shore and then ending the night at Point State Park.  I love that through the experience I got to know these three amazing women!  Here are some of my favorite pictures from their session!

Senior Pictures Pittsburgh | North Shore Senior Photos | Savannah

Savannah wanted to do her senior session with the fall foliage and the city skyline as her backdrop. Savannah’s mom suggested the North Shore as a possible option for her session. I absolutely loved the idea! The North Shore has so much to offer.   I love that you get the urban feel with the city skyline, cobble stone roads, alleyways, and bridges. It also offers a vibrant and fun element with the sculptures as well as the natural elements with the weeping willow trees and walking paths.   The night of Savannah’s session we were a little worried about the rain, but it ended up being a beautiful evening.   It was so much fun walking along the river and taking pictures at different spots along the way.
