Downtown Pittsburgh Senior Photography | Mellon Park | Lindsay

Lindsay and her family came in from St. Mary’s, where she is a senior at Elk County Catholic High School. They decided they wanted something different, and opted for a downtown Pittsburgh senior photography session. I am so glad they did! The day of the session was absolutely beautiful. Mellon Park is always one of my favorite places for pictures, especially because of the walled garden! It offers so many different backgrounds and that day was no exception.

Lindsay is a dancer and because of this we took some pictures of her dancing. That was by far my favorite part of the session! I could have taken pictures of her dancing all night! At the end of the session, Lindsay had the sweetest idea–she wanted to take a picture with one of her baby pictures. I loved that idea so much.

Sewickley Senior Photos | Sewickley Heights Borough Park | Anna

I met Anna and her parents at Sewickley Heights Borough Park for Anna’s senior photography session. Sewickley Heights Borough Park is one of my favorite locations because of the wooded paths and tall grass. I love taking pictures there this time of year because of all of the wild flowers. It ended up being the perfect location for Anna’s Sewickley senior photos. Anna looked amazing in her yellow dress among the yellow wild flowers.

At the end of the session we found a spot in the field where a single purple flowered plant was blooming. The purple complimented her dress so well, and I love how the flower stood out among the dry grass. I couldn’t resist getting a couple of pictures of Anna laying down in the grass. I love how bright and beautiful her eyes are in those pictures. I love that those pictures ended up being some of her dad’s favorites as well.

Pittsburgh Senior Photos | Phipps Conservatory Senior Pictures | Lucie

Lucie originally wanted to take her senior pictures at Hartwood Acres Mansion. However, it was booked by a wedding causing us to switch the location to Phipps Conservatory and I am so glad that it worked out the way that it did. I cannot imagine a better place for Lucy’s Pittsburgh senior photos. We found so many different backgrounds. I especially loved the pond glistening in the background of some of the shots.

Lucie is a 2018 graduate of Moon Area High School. She has the sweetest and most beautiful smile! When taking her Pittsburgh senior photos I couldn’t help but smile, too! I love that Lucie brought her cute little dog along for a few shots as well. Pets are so special and unique to each owner.

Downtown Pittsburgh Senior Pictures | Moon Township Senior Photographers | Hanna

Hanna is a 2018 graduate of Moon Area High School. We started out in the lovely Mellon Park. I love Mellon Park with its cobblestone paths, unique arches, and the walled garden. For the location, Hanna wanted to do her session at Mellon Park but she also wanted a picture in a field. We found an area with tall grass in Mellon Park that was perfect for that photo. It was gorgeous on the day of Hanna’s session. I especially loved how Hanna looked as she twirled, with the sunlight streaming through her hair.

Hanna asked for some downtown Pittsburgh senior pictures as well. The urban setting made such a fun contrast to the walled garden.

Hanna was a ton of fun to work with. Because of this, Hanna and her mom had me cracking up with laughter by the end of the night. Scroll down to see some of my favorite pictures from her session.

Pittsburgh Area Senior Photography | Moon Township Senior Pictures | Caitlin

I absolutely love Pittsburgh area senior photography sessions, and this one–shot at Sewickley Heights Borough Park–was no different. I had the privilege of meeting Caitlin for the first time when she came along to Lucas’ senior session. Not only do I love that I got to meet her before her session, but that I also had the opportunity to take both her and her boyfriends senior pictures.

I had so much fun spending the evening walking around Sewickley Heights Borough Park and taking pictures of Caitlin! Caitlin has the greatest little smirk and it shows in her pictures. I especially love the pictures of her smelling the flowers!

I love when seniors want to incorporate meaningful props into their session. It was really special that Caitlin’s mom brought shoes to represent all of Caitlin’s different high school activities. It was such a fun idea and I love how it represented Caitlin’s high school hobbies and interests!
