Senior Pictures Pittsburgh | North Shore Senior Photos | Savannah

Savannah wanted to do her senior session with the fall foliage and the city skyline as her backdrop. Savannah’s mom suggested the North Shore as a possible option for her session. I absolutely loved the idea! The North Shore has so much to offer. I love that you get the urban feel with the city skyline, cobble stone roads, alleyways, and bridges. It also offers a vibrant and fun element with the sculptures as well as the natural elements with the weeping willow trees and walking paths. The night of Savannah’s session we were a little worried about the rain, but it ended up being a beautiful evening. It was so much fun walking along the river and taking pictures at different spots along the way. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from her session.

Pittsburgh Senior Portrait Photography | Schenley Plaza and University of Pittsburgh Senior Photos | Madelyn

Madelyn’s session was so much fun! Madelyn just got accepted into the University of Pittsburgh! Because of this, Madelyn’s mom suggested the University of Pittsburgh as a possible location for her session. I absolutely loved the idea! We met up by the carousel in Schenley Plaza and grab a couple of really fun portraits there before heading over to the Cathedral of Learning. I have taken pictures at the Cathedral of Learning a couple of times before but never notice the cute wrought iron gate going into the bottom level. As I was taking pictures of Madelyn in front of the wrought iron gate, a group of fraternity men walked by. When Madelyn’s mom asked if we could get a couple of pictures of Madelyn with them, I said YES!!!! That was by far my favorite moment during the session and will go down as one of the most memorable experiences on a shoot of all time! Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from Madelyn’s session.

Pittsburgh Photographers Senior Photos | Moon Township Senior Portraits | Nick

Nick is a senior this year at Moon Area High School. We did his senior portraits at Robin Hill Park in Moon Township. Robin Hill Park is one of my favorite locations in the area because of the variety of different backdrops it has to offer. It has a great rustic feel with the hiking trails through the woods, wooden fence, cabin, stone walls, and old mansion. It was a beautiful day on the day of his session. The leaves were starting to change color so we were able to get some beautiful fall foliage in the pictures. One of my favorite moments during the session was when Nick just started laughing. I don’t even remember what he was laughing about, but in that moment his entire face lit up! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Nick’s session.

Downtown Pittsburgh was the perfect setting for Mitchell’s senior portraits! We met up at sunrise and spent the morning taking pictures with the city skyline, bridges, and alleyways as our backdrop! For the first hour it felt almost like we had the entire city to ourselves. There weren’t that many cars on the roads so we were able to take some pictures on the bridge and in the middle of the street. There are so many pictures from Mitchell’s session that I love! If I had to pick one, I think my favorite picture was when Mitchell sat in front of an old green door in an alleyway. His entire face lit up! He had the most amazing smile in that moment! Pittsburgh Photographers Senior Pictures | Sewickley Heights Borough Park Senior Portraits | Hannah

When we were deciding on where to do Hannah’s senior pictures, her mother mentioned that she wanted tall grass and flowers. The first location that came to mind was Sewickley Heights Borough Park! It is by far one of my favorite locations in the Pittsburgh area because of the variety of different backgrounds it has to offer this time of year! It has a wooded path, tall grass, an area filled yellow flowers, and a field of Queen Anne’s Lace flowers! I was worried on the day of her session that we would need to reschedule because of the rain, but it cleared up just in time! I had so much fun that evening with Hannah and her mom, Heather! Hannah beyond beautiful and I absolutely love how her blue eyes sparkle in her senior pictures! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from her session!
