I really enjoyed preparing for Shana and Brian’s engagement session.  They wanted an urban theme for their engagement photos so I spent two weeks finding spots for the session.  I loved how the pictures turned out.  This was one of the many photos that I loved from their session!  I am really looking forward to photographing their wedding in Crested Butte in June!

I took Patrick and Kristina’s family and engagement pictures two weeks before their wedding day.  I loved it.  It was amazing capturing how they look at each other.  

We went on a hike in the Roosevelt National Forest at Brainard Lake to photograph Tiffany and Tucker’s engagement pictures.  There were a lot of beautiful spots on the hike.  It was a blast spending an entire afternoon taking pictures.

 

After the session, Alex and I continued up the mountain to the top to see the continental divide.  We knew a storm was approaching, but we wanted to make it to the top.  Hours later we made it to the top, the wind was so cold.  Our fingers were frozen, I could barely press the shutter to take a picture.  It was pouring rain on our long hike down the mountain.  Three hours later, when we were approaching the car, the rain stopped.  As we were driving out of the forest, I noticed a beautiful rainbow.  Even though my entire body was frozen from head to toe, I had to get out and take a picture.

It seemed like every day that we were going to take pictures, there was a storm rolling in.  We ended up rescheduling two or three times due to the weather.  In fact, after we started our second session, we were told that we had to leave because of the lightning.  This is one of my favorite pictures of Jill and Tony.  I love how Jill’s hair is blowing in the wind.  

I spent the entire week before this shoot checking out locations in downtown Denver.  I found so many perfect spots for Jackie and Israel’s engagement pictures.  During the shoot, we walked up and down the 16th Street Mall.  Although we were not able to take pictures at all the spot that I found, I definitely can’t wait to do another photo shoot downtown!
