I am in love with Erin’s description of her daughter, Evie! “Evie loves to play and be outdoors. She’s into mermaids and thinks she might actually be a mermaid. She spends her summers swimming as much as possible. Evie also loves animals. Her favorite animals are toads, but she loves them all no matter how small or large! We like to go hiking on the trails behind our house together and look for salamanders in the spring or tadpoles. She loves music and is always singing or dancing. She does all this wearing dresses…the bigger the twirl the better! She loves sparkles and ruffles!”  I mean seriously!   How cute is this little girl!!!!  I definitely wanted to capture Evie’s fun and playful side during her session.   We met up at Sewickley Heights Borough Park.  It was such a fun night!    Evie is full of joy and happiness!   In addition, I absolutely love her adventurous side!  My favorite part about the session was when Erin and Larry were walking with Evie.   As they were walking Evie entire face lit up as she started bouncing from side to side.   I could not believe how high she was getting off of the ground!  This little cutie had me smiling from ear to ear the entire night.   Here are some of my favorite pictures from Erin and Larry’s family session!

I asked Erin to write a couple of sentences about her family and her experience and this is what she wrote.

“I was very fortunate to win a session with Nicolette after our school’s open house….I put a few tickets into her basket to win since I had seen some of Nicolette’s work! I really wanted to capture photos of our daughter and our family and couldn’t wait to see what Nicolette came up with! Nicolette is amazing! She spent so much time with our family capturing those perfect pictures. We wanted to showcase our daughter’s energy and infectious laughter. Nicolette made the experience so much fun for our daughter and the photos really show how much fun we all had! We also really wanted to include our dog in the photos and it was wonderful that Nicolette was actually able to capture photos with both our daughter and dog looking at the camera! We are so pleased with the photos and look forward to many future sessions as our daughter grows!”-Erin
