Allie is two months old today!  She learned how to laugh and giggle this month!  She is growing up so fast.  She is already 13 lbs!

I am a mother!!  Allie was born on July 21, 2011, at 12:33 p.m.  She has filled my life with love and laughter. Every time she smiles, my heart fills with joy.

Only 3 more weeks left!  Alex and I spent Monday night taking a few maternity pictures!   We are getting so excited!  I can’t believe we are actually going to be parents in 22 days!  I am looking forward to this weekend.  We are going to go shopping and get the last few things that we need for her room and then we are going to take the camera out and get our first family portrait!

I had so much fun at the PUG meeting last night.  The entire time I lived in Colorado, I never reached out and joined a photography group.  I always knew how I could get involved, but I felt like I never had the time.  When we moved to Pittsburgh I knew I had to make time.  I started looking for photography groups in the area, but in the end I was unsuccessful.  A month ago I received an email from Leeann about the upcoming PUG happy hour.  I had so much fun!!  I actually didn’t want to leave when the night was over.  I was thrilled when I found out that there was going to be another get together on June 14th.  I had so much fun last night seeing everyone again.  Plus, I learned so much about using social media in my photography business.  To top it all off, we sat around a cozy bonfire eating cupcakes as we talked photography!

As Alex and I were eating lunch this afternoon, a hummingbird landed on a branch right outside our window.  Hummingbirds are significant and meaningful for my husband.  I quickly grab my camera before it flew away.  I am so glad it didn’t fly away before I could take a quick picture.
