I was seriously counting down the days until I got to meet Sawyer! When I arrived at my sister’s house, my heart sank and my eyes started to tear up! He is so precious! I feel in love immediately! I truly love that I got to spend the morning hanging out with my sister and taking pictures of Sawyer. Every time I look at these pictures, I want to just snuggle up with him. I mean seriously, that face, those lips…he is perfect in every way!!! Sewickley newborn Photographer

I asked Alexa to write about Sawyer and her experience and this is what she wrote.

“Doing the infant photos for Sawyer was something that I was really looking forward to as we did not do them for our first born, Charlene, and was something that I regret. This time with Sawyer, although exhausting, is so ethereal and precious, its a shame to not savor all of the little moments and treasure the physical reminders of the memories. I hope that I never forget the feeling of the warmth of his forehead against my cheek or his infant baby soft smell, but I feel those memories already fading of the time I got to spend with his sister. Was she really this little? I don’t ever want to forget.

Nicolette was so professional the second she walked into our home. I was nervous that Sawyer was going to fuss the whole time, but with a mothers touch, Niki, soothed him into every transition and pose that the session was actually a relaxing break and a fun moment to connect with another mother during those first few weeks of utter exhaustion and constant worry. I am so happy with how the photos turned out and very excited to have them to look back on as that little reminder of the time when I was blessed with moments of pure contentment and excitement for our growing family.” -Alexa

I can’t believe my little baby girl turns 1 today! It is so hard to think that just a year ago today I was in labor and we were on our way to the hospital. I had a very easy delivery with Adalyn and within only a few pushes she was born. Right after she was born they laid her on my chest and she was calm. It was such a powerful moment for me. I knew she was exactly where she wanted to be. Ever since, Adalyn has been my little sidekick. She has been either in my hands or right by my side the entire year. I honestly can’t get enough of her. She has been such a sweet a blessing to our family. She brings a smile to my face everyday. I love that I can already see her little personality. She is adventurous, care-free, and inquisitive. She loves to swing in a swing, dance, and explore. She is crawling all over the place and pulling her self up on anything around her to stand. I know she will be walking before we know it!

As a Pittsburgh PA newborn photographer, I truly get so excited and count down the days until my next newborn session. Maddox is absolutely perfect in every way! I am in love with the pictures from his newborn session. Maddox was born on June 25. He was 11 days new for his session. Ashley wanted a couple of pictures of Maddox with their cowboy boots. That picture ended up being one of my favorite pictures from their session. I love that she even had a tiny pair of cowboy boots for Maddox! As a Sewickley Newborn Photographer, I absolutely love staying in touch with my clients and seeing their family grows over time. I have known Stacey and Jerrod for a while now. I was Stacey and Jerrod’s wedding photographer back in 2010. Since then we have become friends and I have truly enjoyed watching their family grow! I was so happy when they asked me to take Emma’s newborn pictures. I immediately planned a trip to Colorado. I will never forget Emma’s birthday because she was born on my birthday! Happy Birthday Emma!

I asked Stacey to write a few words about Emma and how she has changed since her newborn session.

“Emma is a busy little girl and is always on the go. She loves to read and look at books. Some of her favorites are the look and find books and books with hidden pictures. She is talking more and more each day. She loves babies, real and fake. She enjoys playing the memory game and hide and seek. She loves being outside and could smell flowers all day long. She is kind and loving. She loves to give hugs and kisses to friends and family and of course our dog Ollie.” -Stacey
Stacey sent me some updated pictures of Emma. It is amazing how much she has changed over the past couple of years! I can’t wait to make it back to Colorado some day to see her!
