My sister is having a baby girl in July!   When I went home for Thanksgiving, Alexa picked me up from the airport.  On the way to my mom’s house she told me that she was pregnant!   I had to promise her that I wasn’t going to tell anyone.  It was so hard not talking about it when anyone was around.  A month later they announced to everyone that they are having a baby!  Since then, I have really enjoyed talking with her about her pregnancy and everything that she is experiencing.   I was so happy when I found out that I was going to be able to take her maternity pictures.  We are planning a trip in July and can’t wait to meet their daughter!

 

I loved doing Lauren’s maternity session.  I enjoyed taking and laughing with her as we took pictures all afternoon.  She was open to every idea that I had during the session.

I spent the entire week before this shoot looking for the perfect field.  I spent hours driving around Denver.  I wanted a field that would look soft in the pictures.  It was all worth it!  The spot was perfect for Jessica’s belly pictures.  

This was my first time shooting belly pictures.  I loved it!  Heidi was due on Friday and she asked me to take pictures on Wednesday.  I rushed over to her house that night to take the pictures.  I was so nervous that she was going to go into labor before I got there.  I took the pictures on Wednesday using my film camera and then did another shoot on Friday with my digital camera.
