I love that every session is unique and different! Shelly wanted an urban backdrop for her session so what better location than downtown Pittsburgh! I love the character and variety of backgrounds that Pittsburgh has to offer! We started their session by a magnolia tree and then headed into the alley for a completely different look and feel. Mason and Nora were amazing the entire session! Mason’s smile is contagious! Every time I look at the pictures of him, I can’t help but smile and Nora is just precious! There are so many pictures that I love from their session, but my favorite pictures are the one of Shelly kissing Mason in the alley and then Mason giving Nora a kiss! So cute and perfect in every way! Here are some of my favorite pictures from their session!

“Nicolette is truly amazing. We decided to get urban pictures taken and she spent a lot of time to find the perfect locations for the look we wanted! Just when I thought oh no, our daughter never really smiled with the glimmer in her eyes and our son was so silly making goofball faces, she showed up with a lot of perfect pictures. She did it. I really enjoyed Elizabeth and Robert’s family session! Elizabeth contacted me a few weeks ago to let me know that all of her boys were going to be in town at the same time and that she wanted to have a family portrait taken. I love that Elizabeth wanted to have her family session done at her home. Their home is not only a meaningful location, but it is also surrounded by a beautiful garden. One of my favorite moments during Elizabeth and Robert’s family session was when Elizabeth suggested that I take a couple of the family portraits with their chicken! Sewickley Heights Borough Park was the perfect location for Vicki and Chris’ family session! While we were planning their session, Vicki mentioned that she would like to have pictures of her girls picking flowers in a field. I spent a few weeks driving around scoping out different locations. Although I found several beautiful spots, they weren’t exactly what we were looking for. Vicki told me about Sewickley Heights Borough Park. Later that week I drove by and fell in love with the field of gorgeous Queen Anne’s Lace flowers! It was perfect! The evening of their session was so much fun! I loved taking pictures of Ellie and Juliet picking flowers, listening to Ellie read to her sister, and watching the girls dance together! I can still hear them laughing as I look at through these pictures. Here are some of my favorite moments during their session!

I love that Wayne’s family gifted him with a portrait session for his birthday! There are so many things about this family that I love! I have really enjoyed getting to know them over the past couple of weeks! We did their session at Morrow-Pontefract Park in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Morrow-Pontefract Park is one of my favorite locations in the Pittsburgh area because of the gorgeous creek that runs thru the park. After their session, Wayne and Mary created a beautiful wall display for their hallway. The vibrant green color in pictures accents the decor in their house perfectly! Gifting someone with a photography session is such a wonderful and thoughtful gift! Since everyone was in town for Lou’s retirement party, Janet and Lou’s family decided to gift them with a portrait session. I absolutely love that the focus of this session was to get a portrait of all of the grandchildren with their grandparents! My favorite part about the session was that Janet and Lou wanted to do the session at their home. These pictures are going to look incredible in Janet and Lou’s great room and den!
