Today was a great day!  I spent the evening with Kimberly and Grant!   Grant is the most adorable kid ever!  I couldn’t wait to see how much he has changed over the past year.  Kimberly told me before the session that Grant was looking forward to seeing me:)  So sweet!!  We did their session along the Montour Trail in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania.  I absolutely love the way the red and yellow leaves look in their pictures!

Paul and Paula celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in September.  I love that their gift to each other was a vacation to the same place that they went on their honeymoon, Lake Tahoe!   I loved talking with Paula about their trip.  She talked about how much it has changed since their honeymoon and how memorable the trip was for the both of them.  Jeannette and Brian gave them an absolutely amazing gift for their anniversary.  Jeannette contacted me and told me that they wanted to surprise Paul and Paula with a family portrait!  We took their family pictures at Moon Park in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.  It was a beautiful day and the color of the leaves looks amazing in their pictures!

I have been looking forward to this session for months!  Two years ago, I took pictures of Lily in Denver, Colorado.  After Alex and I moved to Pennsylvania, I got an email from Dawn.  Dawn grew up in Cranberry Township and noticed on my website that I now live in Pittsburgh.  She told me that she was going to be in Pennsylvania for a wedding in July and asked if I would take pictures of her, Ryan, and Lily.  My heart melted!  I couldn’t wait to see them again!  Lily has grown up so much since the last time I saw her.   I enjoyed watching her personality shine the entire morning.  We sang songs, danced, looked at bugs, and played with necklaces and bracelets. But the biggest smile of the day came right after she took a big gulp of lemonade.  I have really enjoyed getting to know Ryan and Dawn over the past two years and I was thrilled to find out that they are expecting another baby in December!!!  Congratulations Ryan and Dawn!!

I loved taking pictures of Kimberly and Greg’s family.  Their son Grant is so cute!  We took pictures at Station Square in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The morning started with us singing Christmas carols and ended with Usher.  One of the cutest moments that morning was at the end of the session when the train was going by.  I thought that Grant would run toward the fence to see the train, but when I turned around he was running the other direction.  He wanted to get on the coin operated train and pretend he was driving instead.  I couldn’t stop laughing all morning!

I had so much fun with Jessica, Billy, Kennedy, Grant and Addy during their family session.  Jessica picked out this beautiful location.  We were in a field surrounded by trees and the yellow glow from the leaves was amazing.  The session quickly turned interesting when I noticed that the bulls were very interested in what we were doing.  I was cracking up the entire time because they kept coming up to us during the session. At one point I thought they were going to charge at us when they formed into a solid front line and even at 10 feet away they kept getting closer and closer.  I was seriously ready to grab my camera bags and quickly make my way to the car, but fortunately Billy and Addy were able to get them herd them to another area.  In the end the bulls turned a beautiful Saturday morning into an unforgettable memory and actually created a fun background in some of the pictures.
