As a Pittsburgh kid photographer, I know how important it is to document my children’s childhood for them.  They are growing up so fast!   It truly feel like just yesterday Allie was just a little baby.  Every year, one of my must have pictures is a picture of Allie playing in the snow.   I waited and waited and waited for our first snow fall.  I honestly think that there has been just two snow storms this winter.   In December, I gave up waiting for the snow.  I knew that if I wanted pictures of Allie in the snow I had to go into the mountains to get them so we all loaded up in the car, stopped by a Christmas tree lot, picked up a little Christmas tree, and drove into Big Cottonwood Canyon.  Allie was so cute the entire time!  Her eyes lit up the minute she started seeing the snow on the ground.  By the time we got to the Jordan Pines Picnic area, the ground was completely covered.  She couldn’t wait to get out of the car and make a snow angel.
